My book collection

So I commented about a few certain books in the photo of my 'office' and then realised I can hardly mention just three of the fantastic authors I'm so lucky to know, without giving the rest of my friends a plug as well. Now we all know the promotional stuff an author has to do, and we've all seen the covers of new books posted on Facebook - mine included, which again, I'm sorry to everyone who is now OVER the whole Fallout promotion!!! sorry!! it's almost over- FEB 17th is the release date...have I mentioned that lately????? :D

Anyway...I thought I'd take a few pictures of the rest of my bookshelves and show off a few of my other favourite authors.

I am hesitant to tell my husband that I've used up all the available space of the new two shelves he's recently put up and need more... just waiting for the right moment...

Have a look and see if you have any of these in your collection.

Rhonda Nelson, Nicola Marsh, Trish Morey, Fiona McArthur Kate Hardy

Diana Gabaldon, Cathy Kelly, Celelia Ahern,

Peter Watt, Joy Dettmann, Kate Morton.

Bronwyn Parry, Fiona Palmer, Fleur McDonald, Rachael Treasure,Fran Cusworth

Matthew Reilly

Alex Scarrow, Diana Gabaldon

AND finally, what is on my bedside table at the moment?...

Great read Lisa!

  1. Great library, Karly! But I cannot believe you have only one book on your bedside table!

  2. LOL- I don't read in bed often- the books are usually found all around the house!

  3. Wow, Karly I am honoured to be sitting on your bedside table...you know what I mean! Thanks for the glowing review. Cheques in the mail and all that. I know what you mean about book shelf space...I'm eyeing the shelves in my daughter's room and considering when might be a good time to steal them!

  4. Thanks for posting the pics, Karly. I enjoy peeking at other people's bookshelves. It appeals to the sticky-beak in me!

  5. Hi Karly,
An interesting collection. Do you have a clean out at times. I have, but they are stil sitting in two rather large boxes. I can't part with them. lol..

  6. I share your pain- I can't part with mine either- If I've read something I don't like I can usually get rid of those- but I can't say I have any at the moment I could part with- much to my husbands dismay! He keeps saying- are you sure you need to keep all of these books? do you ever read them again? why do you need so many?! I've given up trying to explain- although I could point out- that his shed full of power tools also seems to be used just for decoration these days as well !!!
